Global Popularity & Much More In UN’s 13th St. Jerome Translation Contest

St. Jerome Translation Contest is organised by United Nations to commemorate International Translation Day (30 September). The test piece you have to translate into English is a French text entitled – Le Vintage : matière et mémoire. The other test piece is in English entitled – Fingerprints Words, entrants have to translate it into Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish or German. Don’t attach the text of your entry. Just paste and send your email. Only registration form attachment is necessary. The winners will be selected by panel of judges. Results will be announced at the awards ceremony to be held at United Nations office at Geneva on 9th May 2018.

  • Students from MoU and partner universities.
  • Current and former United Nations staff members in all entities of the United Nations system.
  • Current and former interns in all entities of the United Nations system.
  • Staff from all accredited permanent missions to the United Nations.
