NASA in partnership of Houston Cinema Arts Society (HCAS) has launched a CineSpace Short Film Competition 2018. Filmmakers should submit their video inspired by, and actual NASA imagery. It must contain at least 10 percent of NASA video imagery. You may be find imagery through NASA Image Archive. Your video should be your original work and it must have been created after January 31, 2015. It must no longer than 10 minutes. Use English language, if it not possible you have to create English subtitles. All genres and styles will be accepted. There is no entry fee. Upload your video to Tongal. NASA and HCAS team will select finalists. All finalists’ works will screen at Houston Cinema Art Festival on November 9-16, 2017.

The competition is open for regardless of all nationalities.
Participants age must be at least 18 years.

- Grand Prize : $10,000
- Second Prize : $5,000
- Third Prize : $3,000
Film best depicting innovation and inclusion in science and technology : $4,000.
Film best depicting concept of “Moon, Mars and Beyond” : $4,000.
