Innovative Designs For Accessibility (IDeA) Student Competition is for students of Canada. This competition expects students to develop innovative designs, concepts, programs or initiatives that addresses everyday accessibility issues. It doesn’t matter you are a student of arts, engineering, architecture, computer science, business, early childhood education, industrial design, political science, psychology, sociology or social work program. There will be 3 streams. You can submit your designs in any one of these streams :
Stream 1 : Attitudinal/Systemic Barriers.
Stream 2 : Architectural Industrial Design Barriers.
Stream 3 : Technological Communication Barriers.
Location : Ottawa, Canada. Deadline : April 30, 2019.
You should currently enrolled in any post secondary program at a university.
First winner : $5,000 and a paid trip to showcase his project at a national confrence.
Second winner (3 prizes) : $1,500.
Third winner (3 prizes) : $1,000.
