Department of Health and Social Care, the National Institute For Health Research (NIHR) has launched an open competition to provide funding for Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) research. The institute wants to see innovative approaches to tackling AMR. It should be beneficial for patients and public health.

- All NHS Trusts, Higher Education Institutions and non-profit organisations can apply.
- All participants must be established within the UK.
£32 Million funding will be provided for AMR research. It will be for 2 years period starting on 1 April, 2019.
